…..it’s quite hard for me not to blog about DH and the babes!
I try hard to keep this blog just for me but after looking over previous posts, I do tend to stray back to being “mama”…lol
Another goal for this year, maybe? Work a little harder to spend time being me, even if it’s just a LITTLE bit of time here and there.
Went swimming!

You know, it has probably been almost 12 months since I’ve gone swimming with the kids. I think my biggest fear is being the biggest one there and not wanting people looking at me.
But today that thought didn’t even enter my mind. It was stinking hot today and the girls were asking us to take them to the pools. When we got there, there was quite a large crowd but I just took off my shorts, and got into the pool with Bubba without a second thought…
…I’m so proud of myself!
I used to take the kids to the pool early in the morning in the summer so we could go for a swim. Then we’d come back home, they’d get ready for school and I would drop them off. I think we’re going to have to start going in the mornings again. It’s a great start to the day and it wakes the kids up! Not to mention me getting my exercise in for the day. There wasn’t really a chance for me to put it off because the kids would hound me! lol

OK, I said I was going to do this so I’m doing this with my eyes closed…lol
Starting weight: 116.8kg
Current weight: 116.8kg
Goal weight: 70kg
Amount left to go: 46.8kg
Lost to date: 0kg
It’s a long, LONG road ahead but working on 5kg lots sounds good to me (it worked before, so I’ll do it again)
Going Down! - The Plan

OK so this is how I’m going to go about it:
Weigh in day - Wednesday mornings (only because tomorrow is Wednesday and I am eager to start!)
I plan to not follow a ‘diet’ so to speak, but cut down on junk food, soft drink, packaged food etc and increase my intake of water, fruit, vegetables, and activity.
I am also one of those people that have joined Weight Watchers enough times to know HOW to lose weight, it’s just a matter of putting it into practice.
I plan to post my stats her, regardless if the stats are good or bad. Hopefully this will keep me accountable. If I am brave enough, I may even post ‘before’ photos.
