Buy health products online

Filed Under health/wellbeing, shopping | Leave a Comment

Online shopping has made life so much easier for people but there are some things that can be difficult to buy online, such as vitamins and supplements, because you may not know if you are buying the right product or you may need more information about the product before purchasing it.

When it comes to buying health products, I like to be able to read labels, know exactly what the ingredients are, and I also like to be able to get answers to any questions I may have about a particular product.

It helps when there are sites such as Supplements.net that offer the best supplements and vitamins at competitive prices and also provide trained staff that can answer your questions and concerns. Whether you’re looking for the best creatine or a vitamin to help boost your day, you may want to have a look at Supplements.com.

Morning tea

When I’m at home alone, I don’t usually stop and take the time to have morning tea and enjoy a “cuppa” but I was thinking today that I should!

The baby goes down for her morning sleep at around 9.30 - 10am so I’ve decided that this will be the time when I’ll stop doing the housework (or whatever I’m doing), make myself a nice cup of tea (just reminded myself that I need to check out some new flavoured teas) and if I’ve been good, a couple of biscuits and take the time to enjoy the quiet and try to de-stress, even if it’s just for a little while.

We all get so caught up in things that need to be done, and I know that my brain is always running a mile a minute so this morning tea time should do me good.

Silly dog!

My obnoxious little dog, Oscar, has taken to sleeping on top of the grill cover of our BBQ. How does he get on there if he’s little?, I hear you ask. Well, I was spying on him from the bathroom window and apparently what he does is jump from the back steps onto it.

I’ll share a photo as soon as I can take one of him. It seems he’s camera shy and runs away when I try to get a photo of him…lol

Aeroplane jelly on a sandwich?

You can tell when the kids have been watching too many US shows on television when DD7 calls to me from the bathroom asking me to “turn the hot and cold faucets” so she can reheat her bath.

Or she asks for peanut butter and jelly on her sandwich, but can not understand why I put peanut butter and jam on it. She was expecting (aussie) jelly….jello for my non-Aussie readers….lol

I really want to be driving…..

I drive a Mitsubishi 8 seater Starwagon. It’s white, it’s practical and it’s good on gas. I often joke to my DH that I’ll eventually get my “sexy” car. I really want a Hummer….a pink Hummer………

…yeah, just like that one…lol

Don’t know if I’ll ever get one though.

What’s your dream car?

Helping give back to charities

I was asked to review a new, innovative auction website called Bidaroo.com. The founder, Rob Gough recently found himself battling cancer and as a way of thanking the charities that helped him and his family, he created this website so people can purchase awesome products at bargain prices while giving back to charities that help families in time of need.

The idea of the site is to bid on products that are 80 - 90% below retail price. To win the charity auction, you need to be the highest unique bid and in most cases, the shipping of the product is free.

At least 25% of the proceeds go to charity and as well as giving back to the charities, Rob’s aim is to donate money to help find a cure for cancer.

I think this is a terrific way to help charities that help people.

It’s raining, it’s pouring!

It’s raining.

It rained yesterday and it’s meant to be raining tomorrow as well.

I love the rain. I find it mesmerising. I like to just look out the window and watch the rain fall from the sky.

I also love thunder storms. When there’s lightening, you’ll often find me at the window too. DD14 asked my dad if I did this as a kid and he told her that he and my mum used to around and close all the doors and windows only to find me with my window wide open, watching the lightening show.

Do you love thunderstorms? Does rain bring down your mood?

Comfortable yoga clothing

I bought a pair of yoga pants from a party plan company a while ago that I damaged by getting bleach on them. They were the most comfortable pair of pants I’ve ever worn. I was so upset that I wrecked them, not only because they were my favourite pants but because they cost me over $100au! DH jokes that they are now my $100 house-cleaning pants because I still wear them around the house when I’m doing the housework.

I was looking online to see if I could find another pair like them and I came across yoga-clothing.com that has really nice yoga clothes. I like that the outfits are fashionable and you don’t have to just wear them while doing yoga (because I don’t do yoga…lol).

No chocolate for me, please

My dad and stepmum are coming over today to give out Easter gifts because Easter Sunday this year also happens to be my niece’s 1st birthday. So instead of celebrating Easter Sunday, we’re only celebrating the day as her birthday.

So I’m hoping that my dad and stepmum haven’t bought me any chocolate this year. I’m trying so hard to be good and not eat any crap and I know that I’ll crumble if they buy me my favourite chocolate. I did mention to them a couple of weeks ago not to buy any so I hope they listened!

Yep, I need that!
