I wanted to be a pink lady!

I was reading “Movies You Watched Over and Over” by Alycats this afternoon. I think Alycats is younger than me so we don’t have many of those movies in common but I do enjoy watching Muriel’s Wedding.

Some of my favourite movies that I used to watch over and over as a teenager (and even now as an adult) are:

  • E.T
  • Grease I and II
  • Dirty Dancing
  • Desperately Seeking Susan
  • Nightmare on Elm Street (all of them)
  • The Breakfast Club
  • Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
  • Flowers In The Attic
  • Pretty In Pink

Oh My! I could go on!

I still have some of these on VHS. I think I’ll see if I can get some of my more favourite ones on dvd.

What were your favourite movies as a teenager?

I loved The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off too!. Ferris has aged well; I got a copy not long ago and still loved it. Best thing was my teenage kids loved it too.

I had no idea Flowers in the Attic was made into a movie! I’m headed over to Netflix to reserve it now. VC Andrews was one of my fav authors!! With five kiddos too, not much time for fictional reading.
