Hangin’ with the girls

Envy might be bad but I envy the mums/moms that are able to take time away from their husbands and children and go on cruises with their girlfriends.

 

How I would love to go on a holiday with my girlfriends and all of us be able to let our hair down and have fun without having to worry about the kids or the "husbo’s".

 

But alas, I can’t see that happening any time soon and to be honest, I’d miss MY husbo and kidlets too much to be away from them for too long.

 

Maybe I should plan a family cruise instead…lol

    I would love love love to get away from the family for a while. Sure I’d miss them, but I really need a break!!!

    I am currently planning a weekend down south with some of my other mummy friends who need a break, not quite a cruise, but good enough!

    Looking back, I wish I had forced myself to take a little more time for myself when I was home raising my little ones. In the long haul my kids wouldn’t have missed a weekend once in a while and I wouldn’t have felt so housebound at times. My mini-vacations were my Mother’s group that met once a week. Take it from Nona, be kind to yourself. Mothers do the hardest job in the world and they need a vacation now and then.
