I feel a change comin’

Hi readers,

I just wanted to let you all know that I’m planning on changing the theme of this blog shortly.

Oh and to any male readers, sorry guys! it’s gonna be really pink! lol

Looks wrong

So I mentioned that I’m having to use the babes’ PC at the moment and this PC has Internet Explorer which I’m about to change as soon as I finish updating my blogs….anyway…..

I was just looking at this blog and it doesn’t look right in IE. Instead of having two sidebars on the right side, it seems that the columns are one under the other. And the headings of each post is slightly cut off even though I have the settings adjusted in the control panel for display/

Is this how it looks for you? Or does it look fine for you? What browser do you use, so I can see if it’s just IE or if it looks wrong in other browsers too?

My laptop has died! All my blog admin details are bookmarked, along with passwords and all the urls of pages that I go to regularly. I bookmark them so I don’t have to remember them.

Well, I’ve just spent too much time trying to work out the url’s to get into the admin section of my blogs so I can post.

I don’t know if my laptop is repairable or not so in the mean time I will be using our kids’ PC (which I absolutely LOATHE using!) so it probably means that I won’t be online as much as I usually am. That and it’s Christmas so I won’t have much time to play online anyway!

So, in regards to the title of this post…please! please! have all your urls, passwords and other informatiopn written down in case you cannot retrieve them off your computer.

After some sort of problem with servers, my hosts have finally gotten their act together and fixed the problem allowing 2 of my blogs to be back online this morning. They were offline almost all day yesterday and I don’t know for how long last night after I went to bed!

While I realise that it might have been unpreventable, it is an inconvenience to both myself and my advertisers if my blogs are not accessable.

As a side note, BACK UP! BACK UP! BACK UP! If your host goes down, have you backed up your blog in case the worst happens?!

Mummified Times Five is my family-oriented blog where I post regularly about my DH, my babes and our family life in general.

This blog, Not Just Mama is my personal blog focussing on ME! Putting aside my “wife and mama” title for a little while to be just me!

I’ve spent the better half of today fixing up the template and adding all my “bling” to my sidebars. I think I’ve added everything that was there previously. My only problem now is that I need to rewrite the posts that I did for “Tina’s Take A Break” so please be patient with me and I’ll get them re-added as soon as I can

I logged in this morning to update my blog, only to find some error and I wasn’t able to view the blog or get into the cpanel!

After spending some time emailing back and forth with tech support, I needed to reinstall Wordpress but in the meantime, I lost my customisations and my posts!

So PLEASE bear with me while I get this blog back in order. What a pain in the asphalt!

While I LOVE my husband and my babies, I find that sometimes I forget who ‘I’ am! So this blog is my little space where I can put aside the ‘wife’ title and the ‘mama’ title and just be Tina.
