Can I sleep first?

I think I might be suffering from "Mondayitis". I had a shocking sleep (it was even sleep because I don’t think I got much) and I’ve got so much to do today but all I feel like doing is grabbing a pillow and a blanket and going for a sleep on the lounge. (DH and the baby are still sleeping in my bed).
Just thinking about what I need to get done today is making me exhausted! Someone please find my fairy godmother and tell her to bring me some energy, and strength (maybe some prohormones or vitamins or something.
On second thoughts, let me have that snooze on the lounge and then I’ll get stuck into what I need to do.
Call now!

Note to self - If you’re planning on staying up into the wee hours of the morning, be sure to have a DVD sitting ready near the DVD player so you can at least have something decent to watch instead of infomercials about steak knives, the latest break through in weightloss and life insurance.
You’d think that would have put me to sleep but no! I was seriously thinking about ringing up and ordering those darn steak knives!
Longing for a better nights’ sleep

I really think we need to get a new mattress. I’ve been waking up with a sore back for a couple of weeks now (and DH has been complaining as well). Unfortunately our savings won’t support us in buying a new mattress right now. Hopefully in a few months we’ll be able to afford one - one that offers better back support. I’m hanging for a good nights’ sleep!
Boosting the memory

Wouldn’t it be great if, when you find that your body is starting to slow down and you are not remembering as much as you used to, that it was just a matter of going to the store and buying some memory and installing it into your brain. I’m already finding that I could be going to the other side of house to get something only to find that when I get there, I have forgotten what it was I was getting! If it’s happening now, what am I going to be like when I’m old?!
List maker

I’m a list maker. I have lists for almost everything I do and I can almost always be found with a notepad and pen in my hand or next to me. At the moment, I’ve been working on a list of games ideas for my sister’s baby shower. I’ve found some great ideas online! I’m also working on a list of gift ideas for Christmas because I like to start Christmas shopping early. It seems that a blogger pal of mine (you know who you are) is interested in lists too and has been SO helpful by sending me a list of best diet pills available. This was after I said that I wasn’t interested in taking any pills and really want to try losing weight naturally if I can.
Making time to lose weight

I’m finding it difficult to set aside some time in the day to exercise. I have all good intentions in the morning and tell myself, okay today I’m going to do 30min on the abswing. I mean 3 mins isn’t a long time. I st and watch Bold and Beautiful - why don’t I do it then? I read today on a friend’s blog that she was thinking of trying Orovo. I’m interested to see if it works for her and what type of results it gives her.
Need a good kick!

Can somebody please send me a couple of years’ supply of a diet pill that works? If you’re a reader of my weightloss blog, you’ll have noticed that it’s come to a stand still. I find that if the weight loss is not happening, I go quiet, very quiet! So quiet that I don’t think I’ve posted there for more than a week or so. Hiding and pretending there’s not a problem won’t make it go away. Actually, don’t worry about the pills, just come and kick my butt! LOL
Updating paperwork

I have a whole heap of paperwork to sort today. I have a pile of stuff for medicare insurance and superannuation. I also need to close one of my bank accounts that I don’t need anymore. I ended up opening a savings account linked to my everyday account which gives me better interest. Ugh! Nothing bores me more than doing paperwork!
Not too old to play games

I’ve been reading lately that a lot of women are getting into xbox 360 games and Wii games as a way to get some exercise. I think it’d be fun to play virtual tennis or bowling or something like that. Do you play those types of games to stay fit? If you do, do you find that they are a workout?
Of course, I’d probably have to do it while the kids are out of the house because they’d take over the system!
Look after your heart!

It’s amazing how many people don’t realise that they have suffered minor heart attacks! My dad had tests done a few months back and his doctor asked him if he knew that he had had one. My dad had no idea! he had been suffering from some pains a while ago but he just put it down to indigestion or heart burn. It pays to know what the symptoms are and to be aware of the best ways to take care of your heart.
I’m overweight and it always worries me when I experience a Rapid Heart Rate because we all know that carrying extra weight puts strain on your heart.
I came across Heartlibrary.com which shows interactive videos about the heart. You can learn more about it and various problems that can occur and symptoms to look out for. This is one site that everyone should have bookmarked!
